SEO Blog Writing

Blogs are a super useful SEO tool.

Well written and valuable search engine optimised blog articles not only demonstrate your industry expertise and industry knowledge, they are a magnet for links from across the internet.

Essentially, quality long form blog articles attract links organically because they offer value to other human beings who need to solve problems.  Short poorly written articles that simply steal other online content, regurgitate AI rubbish, or cheap articles that have clearly been written by cheap non-English speaking offshore writers will not attract links.

Links to a website from other websites are of course the key indicator used by search engines like Google to ascertain a website’s value.  A single quality blog post can attract over 50 links over time, without the business owner doing a single thing.

Most importantly, these links drive up your business website’s domain authority on the internet, which also raises the rankings of your commercial or sales website pages, such as your product/service website pages.

Quality search engine optimised blog articles also of course bring increased organic traffic to your website without you spending anything at all.  Attracting links and bringing increased organic traffic to your website are the two reasons anyone undertakes content marketing.

Other Key Advantages of Blogs:

  • Blogs build trust in your business. Every blog article is written to exhibit your underlying business values.  Quality long form blog articles are associated with longer on page viewing times and greater interest and community around your business, including the sharing of such blog articles through social media and within other articles on the internet.
  • Blogs become a long term SEO business asset that attracts people to your business year after year with only minor updating.  Blog articles are designed to be evergreen resources that give your business ongoing benefits.
  • Blogs help you attract your ideal clients and repel non-ideal clients.  This is because blogs are a great way for you to demonstrate what you stand for and what you offer, and conversely what you don’t stand for and what you don’t offer.

So if you’re a business owner who has abundant expertise, knowledge and skills, but you don’t have the time to write blog articles, I can help.

SEO Blog Writing Process

1st Step - Phone or Zoom Call

I will schedule an initial call with you (this will take no more than 30 minutes) so that I can ask you about your requirements and tell you how I work.  This way you can see if we’ll be a good fit, and you’ll be able to ask any questions that you may have.

2nd Step - Brief & Quote

I will then ask you to fill in a questionnaire that will give me an effective grasp of exactly what you wish to achieve and the audience or target market you wish to focus on.  It’s important that I obtain a good understanding of what your requirements are initially so that I can help you achieve your goals.  This saves a huge amount of time for you down the track.  I’ve actually written successful blog articles for clients continuously for more than five years with no input from them, simply because the client filled in an effective initial brief.

I’ll then email you a quote.  To accept the quote, all you need to do is sign the quote, sign the brief terms and conditions document, and pay the 50% deposit.

3rd Step - Research & Creation

I’ll assess your current website, including your most popular website pages and keywords that you’re ranking for, so that we both have baseline measures from which to measure the impact of new blog articles written.  After I’ve assessed your current website, I’ll undertake SEO keyword research associated with your business and industry.  I’ll then put together a list of suggested blog articles written on the basis of SEO keywords that are popularly searched and that are appropriate and beneficial for your business to be found under.  Once you’ve approved this recommended list, I’ll write your blog articles.  In addition, If I can obtain royalty free stock photos in association with the topic, I’ll also provide these, or provide you with an alternative recommendation on photos.

4th Step - Revision

Once you’ve read through the blog articles, I’ll schedule a phone call or Zoom meeting to go through any changes you’d like.  Verbal feedback from yourself ensures that the blog articles written are highly polished and ready to be put to work straight away.

5th Step - Testimonial

I will ask you to leave a Google My Business testimonial, which I’ll feature on my website and which will also include a reference and link to your business.  This is a win for both of us.
